Wood Fence Sales & Repair
Cedar Wood Fence Sales & Repair
Cedar wood fence is valued for its distinct
appearance, aroma, and its high
natural resistance to decay. It is
used extensively for outdoor
construction in the form of
posts, decking, shingles and
siding. One of Cedar’s most
valuable characteristics is its
well known high resistance to
decay. It is for this reason that
Signaure Fence uses it for
wood fence sales & repair
because we know it can be
counted on to give long and
reliable service under conditions
here in Northwest Arkansas.
Pine Fence Sales & Repair
Pine fence is the least expensive initially to install of the two wood fence
options. Untreated pine is generally used as a building wood because this
species has no insect or decay resistance qualities after logging unless it is
treated. Pine wood, when left outside can not be expected to last more than
12–18 months unless it is treated depending on the type of climate it is
exposed to. That is why we use only treated pine when using pine for fence
construction. Treated pine fence if installed properly and maintained
periodically will give you service that is almost as long as that of cedar.
Fence Posts
We recommend using only cedar or steel fence posts. Once wood is covered
with dirt it prevents the wood from drying out after it rains. Cedar fence posts
because of their natural resistance to decay are a good choice. Steel fence
posts will give you an even longer life expectancy than cedar because it will
not decay at all.
Deck Staining
There is no better way to help preserve your wood deck and to beautify it at
the same time than than to pressure wash and then stain your deck.
Pressure washing removes any dirt or build up so the stain can soak into the
wood to help preserve it.
Guess what? …. we do that too! Let us come out and turn that old looking
deck into something you will be proud to have your next barbeque on.
